Ellen completed certificate IV and the diploma course in Film and Television at TAFE Randwick. She is involved in filming and editing for several shows (Off the Shelf, MarkMyWords and No Sweat) broadcasted by TVS, all thanks to Joy who introduced her to the producers of these shows. Over the last years Ellen also helped out other people, including Joy, making short films. Ellen Meijer returned to her native Netherlands in August 2009.
